Interesting bit of news I got today.  It turns out Adobe is not making any packaged software after CS6.  Instead, you'll have to use their "creative cloud" service, which is basically a monthly subscription ($50 a month) to use all the CS programs.  Some people are okay with the change, some aren't.  Personally, I don't really care, since I don't use any of their stuff and don't plan on doing so anytime soon, but I'll be interested to see what the result of all this is.  A lot of people are petitioning them to try and change their minds.  Perhaps other software like GIMP and Paint Tool SAI will get a chance in the spotlight now.
